Newsletter Reviewer Cum Editor - (Ops)
We are seeking detail-oriented, organized, and quality-focused Newsletter Reviewer Cum Editors to support Bizycorp’s email marketing operations. This role is responsible for reviewing, editing, and coordinating newsletter content to ensure high standards of accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all client communications.
As a Newsletter Reviewer Cum Editor, you will work closely with Email Marketing Client Coordinators, designers, and client account managers to ensure newsletters and e-blasts meet client expectations, align with email marketing goals, and are delivered on time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that all newsletters and e-blasts are free from spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors before approval or deployment.
- Review newsletter content to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with client preferences and email marketing objectives.
- Collaborate closely with Email Marketing Client Coordinators and designers to meet client expectations related to email design, creativity, and overall quality.
- Create newsletter sketches or layouts for designers when required.
- Handle tickets and coordinate with internal backend teams to ensure newsletter-related tasks are completed accurately.
- Review newsletters based on specific client preferences and guidelines provided internally.
- Ensure content teams complete assigned newsletter write-ups and content deliverables within agreed deadlines.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback to internal teams to improve content quality and accuracy.
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:
- Good written and spoken English communication skills are required.
- Strong attention to detail with a keen eye for identifying errors in newsletters and e-blasts.
- Ability to review content thoroughly and maintain consistent quality standards.
- Prior experience in newsletter reviewing, editing, content quality control, or a similar role is an added advantage.
- Prior experience working with newsletters is mandatory.
- Candidates must be comfortable communicating with foreign clients via Zoom when required.
WORK HOURS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- You must work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
- 4 hours must be worked between 6:30 PM and 1:30 AM Sri Lanka Standard Time.
- The remaining 4 hours can be worked anytime during the day.
- You must define your work schedule in advance and adhere to it consistently.
- Weekend work is not permitted.
- You must have:
- A quiet, distraction-free home working environment
- A dedicated desktop or laptop (tablets and mobile phones are not permitted)
- A headset with a microphone
- A stable, high-speed internet connection capable of supporting Zoom meetings
- Your work device must have Zoom, Chrome, Firefox, Slack, antivirus software, and a mail client installed.
- You may be required to install additional software as needed.
- You cannot be employed by another company while working at Bizycorp.
