Webmaster - Quality Assurance Engineer - (Ops)

Ops - Remote - Full Time

We are searching for an experienced, detail-obsessed Webmaster - Quality Assurance Engineer to review the work of our Webmaster team and make sure every website task is delivered exactly as our medical professional clients (Dentists, Doctors, Dermatologists, etc.) in the United States and Canada requested. You will work closely with our Webmasters, Webmaster Team Managers, and Client Account Managers to deliver exceptional quality and meet strict deadlines.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • QA several dozen web edits per day, ensuring the work completed by the Webmaster matches the client's requirement.
  • Coordinate with the relevant Webmaster whenever:
    • The requirement was misinterpreted and implemented incorrectly
    • The completed task contains cosmetic/visual mistakes
    • The completed task contains functionality mistakes
    • The completed task does not adhere to internal standards (Lighthouse, Web Accessibility, etc.)
  • Ensure completed tasks adhere to individual client preferences.
  • Provide the Webmaster Team Managers with insights into repeating problems, along with suggestions on how to eliminate them.
  • Update internal systems with client preferences and other key notes.
  • As and when required, help the team with website edits on WordPress.
 

SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior experience in a similar field/role (QA, web testing, or webmaster) is a must.
  • Expertise in cross-browser, cross-device, and web accessibility QA testing.
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap, WordPress, and WordPress themes.
  • Prior experience working with ticketing or task management systems.
  • Prior experience working with foreign clientele is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, capable of communicating clearly with clients via Zoom, VOIP, and email.
  • Exceptional attention to detail. Every bug and every misspelling drives you nuts.
  • Ability to remain calm and offer constructive solutions under pressure, especially when a client is frustrated.
  • Capable of juggling multiple tasks under tight timeframes without compromising on quality.​​​​

WORK HOURS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • You must cover 8 hours per work day and cover 40 hours per standard work week (Monday to Friday)
  • Your 8 work hours must be broken into two segments. 
    • Segment one: Cover 2 hours anytime between 8:00 PM and 2:00 AM (Sri Lanka Standard Time), Monday to Friday.
    • Segment two: Cover the remaining 6 hours anytime between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM (Sri Lanka Standard Time), Monday to Friday.
      • You must define your work schedule ahead of time and adhere to it without fail. 
      • You can not work on weekends.
  • While employed with Bizycorp, you must have a calm and quiet work environment, a dedicated device (desktop or laptop), and a headset (with microphone) to conduct your work. 
  • You can not use a tablet or a mobile to carry out tasks.
  • A high-speed and stable internet connection is sufficient to have a stable video meeting via Zoom.
  • Your work device must have Zoom, Chrome and Firefox, Slack, Antivirus Software, and a Mail Client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail, etc.) pre-installed. If hired, the company will require you to install other software as and when required.
  • You can not be employed for another company while employed under Bizycorp.
